I don't see an absence entered on the calendar

If you don't see the absence you entered, you probably don't have it enabled in the calendar event filter

If the absence is not visible in the calendar, it is not enabled in the event filter.

The calendar filter controls can be found in the top bar of the calendar.

Check the power on in the filter to view.
