bookmark-solid Documents and Tools tabs

The tabs are displayed when the modules are activated. They contain the documents and tools assigned to the user.

Activating and deactivating a user

(back to table of contents)

Activation-1

To activate/deactivate a user, go to the User tab in the Work data tab.

Before actually activating a user, make sure that the email address assigned to each user is functional (active). This is especially important for company domains.

In case you activate a user who does not have an active email assigned to them (typically before joining the company), they will be automatically blacklisted in the Amazon service we use for the functioning of Sloneek. This is due to the mail server trying to deliver messages to a non-existent email.

Sending a new password

(back to table of contents)

The Administrator and Account Owner roles have the ability to send a link to the selected user to change their password.

reset password

In the list of users, click  button_Akce and select Reset Password.

The user can also change the password himself. Instructions can be found here.

The user must be ACTIVATED to be able to change the password.

User Overview

(back to table of contents)

users overview_simple

In the overview table you can (as in any tables in Sloneek) search, filter, or export tables. The view above is "simplistic". Toggle the button above the table button-Assets view to get a detailed view of all the information you record about users.

The Action button button_Akce will take you to edit, delete, (de)activate a user or reset a password. Password reset can be done by the user himself.

Bulk editing of user data

When you need to edit information for multiple users at once, the easiest way to do this is in Company Settings / Bulk settings of absences. The columns highlighted in yellow are the ones you can edit after you double-click the mouse in a specific cell.

Data is automatically saved by clicking into another cell or pressing ENTER.

You can also insert data by copying (COPY / PASTE) from Excel. And even multiple cells in one column.

Create a new user

(back to table of contents)

You can create a new user either as an administrator (click on the button "Add") or send the user a link to perform a "self-creation". It's then up to the administrator to check and activate it.

Switching off/on is done in Settings / Other / Application Settings.
